The Lawyers at Nautiliyaa Legal are equipped and experienced to handle matter and advisory in relation to power sector regulated by Electricity Act, 2003 and various rules and regulations thereunder regulating the electricity sector- right from the prescription of tariff to multi-crore power purchase agreements. We take up assignments of assisting the Clients resolve disputes between the consumer of electricity and the electricity distribution company on the enforcement of a contract; disputes between the producer of electricity and its distributor regarding the enforcement of the power purchase agreement. The disputes also vary from the fixation of tariff to various intricate technical issues regarding compliance with the electricity distribution companies and generating companies. The fixation of tariff itself gives rise to various issues since only the State Commission can fix the electricity tariff and it varies from price paid by a normal consumers and the price a large industry pays. We appear and argue electricity matters before the Supreme Court, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, various State Commissions and the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission.
