Nautiliyaa Legal offers legal services pertaining to environment law, compliances, credits, grants etc. and advisory on India’s comprehensive environmental laws pertaining to various kinds of pollution, recycling, hazardous waste management (by hospitals, clinics, manufacturing industries etc.), water and air pollution, forest and timber regulations, handling of chemicals, etc. The team possesses a deep understanding and practice in environmental laws – The Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, The Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, The Biological Diversity, 2002 and The Indian Forest Act, 1927. We undertake litigation assignments before National Green Tribunals, Hon’ble High Court and Supreme Court of India. We also do environmental due diligence to assess and red flag material environmental risks related to acquisition of operated and non-operated production/ manufacturing sites as well as acquisition of predevelopment assets in India. We advise our clients and assist them in coordinating with State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs), the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Central Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEF & CC).
